The night before. Do some meal prep. Put your wallet in the same place. Put your car keys in the same place. Know what clothes you’ll be using and where they’ll be at. Your belt too.
The following day. Shave, don’t shave, but wash your hands, face, teeth, breath, comb your hair, trim your finger nails, ear and nose hair.

Rubbing Alcohol
Loosen and lift permanent marker spots using a dab of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton cloth. Dab lightly to saturate the spot, and then use a damp cloth to wipe away the residue. Repeat if a faint mark still remains.
